(long story why I couldn't) But tonight I'm tired and need sleep so I can get up early and finish this philosophy paper. So real quick, sorry poe.navelsex.com was down last week, I was off on spring break, had no way of telling the list. But it's back up and going. I'll be going about getting those new mp3s I've heard about floating around and those will go up soon. I've also ripped from Tape Tree #2 the copy of "Anything" that a few people were looking for, so grab it and napster/gnutella/whatever it all over. :) I also put up side b of the tape tree, as I had to rip that to get "Anything" I need people's help on what to do about distributing this. I'd like to give it to the APs, as that is who the tape trees were for, but I also heard that there was talk about not distributing the TT's outside of the APs, and this is a concern. Thoughts anyone? Old-schoolers who remember when these tapes came out (ahh Richmond. :) what are your thoughts? New-schoolers? I'm exhausted.. And I have an idea for a cool present :) This will take ALL the AP's...Anyone who has access to some sporting event(Basketball etc.) Should make a large banner or sign saying "Happy Birthday POE!!" or something like that...anyone in the NY area...if you could get on the Today Show that would be great!!! _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Mar 2001 17:20:14 -0500 From: "devilbird" Subject: NPR- Columbus, OH Ah...the Origins Convention is when approximately 10,000 gamers like myself descend upon the fair city of Columbus and basically party for a weekend. It's July 5-8 this year. Even if you're not a big fan of computer games or RPGs or anything, the art show alone is nifty enough in its own right to merit a visit if you like fantasy or gothicky art. We usually stay at one of the hotels downtown, and my boyfriend is running a bunch of demo games over the weekend, so I'll have lots of time to go off and play by myself this year... devilbird gamergrrl and proud of it! ;) Ed Hunsinger wrote: > I'm 20 minutes outside Columbus, and I'll be around this summer... :) > Anyone else wanna maybe do an OAP gathering? Hey, are you talking about the Hey Pretty (Drive-By 2001 mix single? 'Cause I just got another Haunted copy today, which looks exactly like the Haunted that I bought months ago. Except the disc is now pink instead of black and white, and it contains "Hey Pretty (Drive-By 2001 mix) in its last track. Are we talking about the same one here? Anyway, I'm just too excited. Spinning the new disc now. Every time listening to her music it's like the first time. I hope this doesn't come off bad, it was just something that would make things a bit simpler I thought. Hey everyone! I just heard about an hour of Poe on The Edge in Arlington. Jesse read some exerpts from House of Leaves and also talked to Poe and her brother about the book and the "Haunted" CD, They played a live version of Angry Johnny and Hey Pretty with Mark reading out of the book in the backround.... I thought it was pretty neat becuase I have never heard any station play Poe except for the one's in Georgia where I used to live, Jesse is also giving away 3 autographed copies of House of Leaves! I wonder if I will win one! I'm calling right now to see if I can win one! Hopefully I will!
