Are you gonna be selling them?<< I hadn't planned to (I don't know if that would be copywrite infringement), but I designed the sticker for the Psychos. Also, I wouldn't know where to have it printed so that it would withstand the test of time on the outside of a vehicle. If I do decide to distribute, I'll have to drop the size a bit so I can mail them out. >>That sticker is AWESOME!! If you ever really make one, I want one too!!<< I'll let the list know If I plan to print a run, and where to send your address. >>oh my god i fucking love it...did u do that???<< Yep, I loved the idea when I read it on the post, so I jumped into my favorite program, Adobe Photoshop, and whipped this sucker together. Fortunately I had a hi-res Poe logo available from a previous project. >>It rules. I think I want one, any idea when or if the printing is going to happen?<< If at all, probably this month, as I would be eager to get one on my car!!! >>dude that the honeycomb background is mental!!!<< Yes, . . . yes it is. Reading through some of the e-mails the past few days, I have a feeling I'm going to be one of the older ones on the list. So here goes... Who Am I? My name is Brian. My wife Kris, who is also a huge Poe fan, and I have been married for just over five years. I'm currently working as a Communications Specialist at RCN Corporation, but my background includes stints at both a magazine and newspaper chain. I even had the opportunity to do some entertainment writing while working at the newspaper, including interviews with and stories on Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Melissa Etheridge, Asia, Peter Wolf, Squeeze, Everything, Tears For Fears and a few others. Where am I from? Both my wife and I have been from New Jersey our whole lives. How old am I? I just turned 30 a few months ago and my wife's thirtieth is only days away. (We still act and feel like we're 20 though.) Where did I first hear Poe? My wife used to manage a music store and brought home a promo of her first CD. It instantly became one of our favorites and we anxiously awaited her next go-round. Haunted has not come out of the CD player since we bought it. We both think its one of the best albums, from top to bottom, that we've heard in a awful long time. What other musicians do we listen to? It's definitely a combination of older bands that we grew up with in junior high and high school and some newer acts. The long-time favorites are Asia, Howard Jones, Duran Duran, U2, The Cure, Depeche Mode and New Order. More recent favorites include Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Nine Inch Nails, Foo Fighters, Barenaked Ladies, Chantal Kreviazuk and Orgy. Any other information I'd wish to share? Kris and I had the opportunity to meet and talk to both Poe and her brother during their Border tour late last year, when it made its way to Philadelphia. Both she and Mark were some of the nicest people I've met and I hope I have the opportunity to speak to them again in the future. I guess I'll sign off, letting the list know that I'm looking forward to keeping up with the latest Poe info from the Angry Psychos and will contribute as often as I can. By the way, how many people are on the Angry Psychos list? ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 8 Feb 2001 10:03:00 -0500 From: "Stephen van Vuuren" Subject: RE: I'm a brand new Angry Psycho Hey - us thirty plus AP's are alive and well (33 soon to be 34). :) stephen www.xiveren.com "It's only after you've lost everything that you're free to do anything." ~Tyler~ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 8 Feb 2001 10:07:19 -0500 From: "meghan" Subject: Re: Drive By Sticker : Answers to questions - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Thursday, February 08, 2001 5:06 AM Subject: Drive By Sticker : Answers to questions > And now for another, follow this link to a sticker for Haunted: > > http://www.geocities.com/run_rom_run/POEs_Place/notherpoestickerlowres.jpg That one's really f'in cool. Thanks so much!!!) so I will be going shopping tomorrow to dig up sticker paper. I'm looking for the window decal type, so they'll be nice looking and won't rot away. I hate it when that happens. :) If anyone has suggestions where to get this stuff, please please please let me know. I'm hitting up Staples and Office Depot, as well as other smaller office supply stores around here, and probably a few art stores to see if I can find exactly what I'm looking for.
