At this point I'd actually rather have a SUV than a little car because who gets hurt more in an accident? SUVs also allow you to see more around corners and over other cars and hills... But everything has its pros and cons. Everyone should car pool if they're so worried about the environment, fuel, and room. Or do public transportation. I think the point is that despite our differences, be it skin color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, ethnicity, whatever...we're all still human. To hate someone or to discriminate against someone due to something physical about them, or their personal beliefs, or their sexual preference is incredibly ignorant. I see it as wrong. That brings up another thought. I think the word "equal" gets pretty blurred sometimes. Like, if one person is treated one way, even if it's a way that's good for them, I'm not so sure that i want to be treated that way. I want to be treated how I wish to be treated, which may not match with how another person wishes to be treated. Though, many people's desires usually fall along the same lines, there are differences in taste and whatnot. So, I guess I don't always want to be treated equally in some situations. It really depends on what we're talking about, you know? I would want to have equal pay in a job, but only if myself and my co-workers are doing the same amount of work. I guess in the constitution though, the idea of "equal" is that every person has the right to be treated as...someone who is neither inferior nor superior to others, when it comes down to this idea of basic human rights. So, that's my thought on all this.
