There's nothing more degrading to an artist's image than that of a half-rotting, half-pealed, half-dilapidating sticker on the back of someone's '84 Chevy Nova. Even worse... on someone's chemistry notebook. If anyone is doing stickers... have a *somewhat* experienced designer do the design, then take the final file to a real printer (even DocuPrint is good) and get a decently weighted paper, preferably glossy. Depending on design and colors, you're probably talking about $.50 to $1.00 per sticker. Anyway, that's been my experience. Idea: make a simple sticker: one or two color, square or round. Have everyone on this list vote for their favorite. Everyone pays about $5 and gets about 5 stickers in the mail. Just a thought. - -MV - -----Original Message----- From: owner-angry-psychos@smoe.org [mailto:owner-angry-psychos@smoe.org]On Behalf Of Kimberly Davis Sent: Saturday, February 03, 2001 3:20 AM To: angry-psychos@smoe.org Subject: PR: STickers, Feminists and My T-Shirt First of all: Stickers: Anyone with a fairly good quality printer and a small amount of money could make stickers. I told him I'd think about it =o}. Then this other guy who found out that Mark turned me down said that if I didnt have a date and needed one just to give him a call (that was sweet, but Ray already asked me... =o}). All of a sudden I've gone from the girl who never gets asked out to the girl who has two people ask her to the dance in 5 minutes... maybe it's because I dyed my hair (j/k).
