And Freddy wasn't a pimp, he was gay, note the scarf he was always wearing. But we never thought of these things when we were kids. Munster Scooby Doo was the best! [the ones with Scrappy Doo were even better!] Here's some info on that show: Scooby DOOBY Doo was a pothead. Scooby Snacks were condensed weed. Scrappy was on ecstacy Shaggy is a sexaholic. Thelma is a lesbian Daphne is a porn star And Freddy is the pimp. There we go. Now it's all making sense, isn't it?? ~Emily~ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Jan 2001 23:45:11 -0500 From: "Cygnus" Subject: Introduction Per the suggestion in the welcome letter... Introducing me introducing myself! 1. Who you are? - Call me Cygnus (From the Rush album "A Farewell To Kings"), also a constellation and a Swan (or so I hear). 2. Where you're from? - Cincinnati 3. How old you are? - 26 4. Where you first heard Poe? - Saw her live in 1995. Small place called Oregon Express in Dayton, OH. Heard that she was passing through town and she was going to perform a few songs live. I was driving to class and decided that POE was a priority over classes! She performed 4 songs in front of a crowd of about 50 people. Very intimate setting. She had just recently lost a Grandfather and dedicated her last song, "Fly Away", to him. She than passed out CD-Singles and signed autographs. Ah, to see her again... 5. What other musicians do you listen to? - Rush, NIN, Smashing Pumpkins, Natalie Merchant, SEAL, Cranberries, Queensryche... Love Soundtracks! 6. Any other interesting information you wish to share. - Um, I'll save some for later... ; ) Looking forward to being here! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 17 Jan 2001 00:15:03 EST From: KrodKnid@aol.com Subject: Re: Introduction In a message dated 1/17/2001 12:11:31 AM Eastern Standard Time, cygnus@cinci.rr.com writes: > 2. My name is jess, and I am a new psycho =) *BEAM* I would like to take this opportunity to say a little about myself without necessarily going overboard as i sometimes do.. okay, here we go. My name is jess.. i have already mentioned, but most people call me hus. (short for hussy) The nickname goes back, so don't assume i fulfill the name:) Secondly, i am from Vicksburg, Mississippi and still attending high school, and i am a junior. I am 17 and have been pretty amazed with Poe since i was 15.. but there is a small story behind it.. It goes back to the first time i ever heard poe, at a party in the summer of 1999.. I was dating this guy for a while, and then, it turned out he cheated on me with my best friend, and also had the hots for another one of my friend's sisters. Anywho, I found all of this out at this party, after he professed his love to me, just an hour before. Talk about SLEAZY!!!! But to the jist... I was pretty much sitting on the couch crying heavily at how i was tricked into this little game of his, when my bud manda put on poe.... then switched it to angry johnny. Hearing that song picked up my mood, because the thought of how many different meanings the song had, and how you can take it either way at the same time... and the thought of "blowing him away" made me feel that much better!! But having a memory to the song possibly makes it my favorite!!!! Since then i have been hooked... and whenever i get pissed off at whatever, i turn to poe for enlightenment;) Maybe most of you understand what i mean when i say, she is definitely stress relief!!!!!! There is not too much other info about me, except i am into art, and graphic design, along with music, and dancing, definitely!! I love most music that I can dance to.. especially trip-hop/techno. I love meeting new people, and traveling, along with the occassional sweep-me-off-my-feet tall dark and lovely male... *sigh* Okay.. back to reality!! Anywho, I am very happy to join all of you, and hope that i can contribute positively to this list.. it seems from what i have read in the guidlines that all of you seem to have a really close relationship. I know that i will enjoy being a part of it! hugs, jess notoriously, hus _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V6 #19 **********************************
