I got Haunted the day it came out and I can't wait till she goes on tour. I am also a huge fan of Tori Amos and i like Liz Phair, Fiona Apple, Veruca Salt, Nina Gordon, Hole, Garbage, NIN and the list goes on and on. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 26 Dec 2000 12:25:04 EST From: Mancilia@aol.com Subject: about the trl nkotb thing I remember getting a chain letter sometime last year titled "play a joke on trl" that had massive amounts of names on it... it was instructing everyone to call in on a certain day and request the new kids video. Correct. It was in fact within this year that this feat was pulled off. Still, the "ease" of the task is a matter to question. When making a vote to TRL, you enter a name and city and/or state from. The e-mail address is not even checked. So unless you want to switch screennames just to be on the "ultra-max safe saide," you can just enter vote after vote, entering different names and personal info. Sure, you have to toggle back and forth between screens, but easy than the other option. Oh, and if anyone can locate the original members, a reunited Jellyfish. But to get back on topic..... I love small venue shows and the personal contact that can take place between artist and audience. But then, there is something to see how one person -- or just a few on a stage -- can affect hundreds or thousands of people as a collective force... That's just an amazing thing to see.
