If someone DOES really care about the other person they will help their other half as much as they possibly could. Certain hard lessons can be learned though... sometimes, now matter how great a person you both are, there are some things you really don't want to do... A simple example that i've seen come back to haunt severl of my divoced friends (both men and women) is where they've co-signed eachothers car loans... and then for whatever reason one started defaulting pretty hard, screwing the others credit after the relationship was over... On a different note, i have no problems helping significants out on occasion with bills and what not. It's cash, freely given, and i don't expect repayment. The only caveat i have is if i'm pressed about it... If i think you'll withold something from me if i don't, you'll never see it...
