I run http://www.herzeleid.com, the most popular Rammstein fansite =) And about Poe...I am actually fairly new to her even though I have known about her since back when Angry Johnny came around because I just never really got into her until the new cd, which is awesome. later - -Jobarr (online name...from J. O'Barr, the creater of the Crow) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 28 Nov 2000 06:54:15 EST From: Davey08@aol.com Subject: Re: "hey Pretty" vid idea I sent a similar idea to the "new single" survey. Here is my (refined) idea: Hey Pretty (3:46) (0:00) Opening with music is XLS of Vegas (you guys should appreciate this) slowly zooming down to a speeding sports car racing in the direction of the camera down the strip. Followed by several cuts of the car blurring past the camera with (0:33) police lights and neon blurring the image to an almost hallucinogenic ecstasy trip. Some of the clip show the blur of speed suddenly changing to slow motion to show POE singing through any of the windows. (0:38) Next cut to POE luring a young man down the stairs of (strip?) club called the Belly of a Whale (that name might be over the top), followed by the guy's view of POE dancing in the club's light (POE should be lit as though she is the light), CU of Poe's face through the (0:57) "Hey Pretty" chorus. Immediately following the chorus the scenes right wipes to the car speeding down the street again. during the sequence, the camera follows the car up to a (1:26) very large hotel and the camera stops there as the car stops, and a few seconds after they get out of the car, the hotel is (1:35) imploded. Amidst the dust POE continues to sing (as if this is her doing). (1:45) POE invites the guy back into the car, cut to a XCU shot of Poe's foot slamming the gas. (1:54) "Hey Pretty" chorus shows the car rocketing out from under the camera towards another part of the city. Followed by more blur speed light scenes. On one of the street scenes the camera shows the sports car speed past a group of people and the camera then quickly zooms in to show (2:31) POE and the guy talking, POE singing "hey now..." as if this where a scene before the car trip. The camera sucks back just as POE turns to the camera and says (2:47) "Feel me!" and cuts back into the car speeding past clips (obviously a little more intermediary content is needed here, depending on what POE would be conformable doing). Slow to show POE singing (3:09-3:26) "my pretty baby..." (3:26) Cut to back of car speeding off as music fades, fade to black and MTVcredits. (3:46 times are approximate) I would love to do storyboards for this, perhaps in my free time. If I make them, I'll post the better ones in my sketches gallery (which I might add is now up for your viewing pleasure). Well....... I Have 2 suggestions 1. Amanda Ghost- reason being that she has a unique voice and she is an up and coming star. besides which she is stunningly gorgeous and I believe the males in the audience will be mesmerized by two talented beauties on the same bill. 2. BT- reason being that I really like his stuff however he is a DJ and we wouldn't want Cody and he forming a little rivalry now would we? I am interested in hearing the rest of your suggestions ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 28 Nov 2000 23:58:56 -0500 From: "Chris Povie" Subject: http://work.artistdirect.com/artist_spotlight/poe/ just saw this... http://work.artistdirect.com/artist_spotlight/poe/ cheggidowt. cp ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 29 Nov 2000 01:18:26 EST From: KrodKnid@aol.com Subject: Re: Naked In a message dated 11/28/00 11:55:48 PM Eastern Standard Time, Voodoo1237@aol.com writes: > Yow!!
