I was on the list a long time ago but had to leave but now I'm back :) (1) Who are you? My name is Jenna (2) Where are you from? Reston, Virginia, it's by DC (3) How old are you? 16 (4) Where did you first hear Poe? Actually I first heard her at the beach about 3 years ago... we were in the car and Angry Johnny came on... I fell in love with the song and have been listening to her ever since. I just got her new CD today which is the greatest... if you don't have it, get it! Definately worth it :) (5) What other musicians do you listen to? Well, I've got a big variety but right now I'm mainly listening to what my friends call the "pot smoker variety"... don't ask, inside joke :-D Anyways, mainly Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, the Grateful Dead. Then there's the punk side, Saves The Day, Rancid, NOFX, Mest, Green Day, and of course the rest... silverchair, 311, Incubus, I could really go on forever :) (6) Any other information you would like to share? Yeah, I am in the process of getting dreads... I don't know quite how they are gonna work yet... my friend says they won't cos i don't have the right hair... it's blond and shoulder-length... but I'm still trying... if anyone has any tips, can you email me personally? I bought the CD one day after my friend demanded I give his back. Favorite song(s): Hello (funk version found on Napster) and Could Have Gone Mad. Other favorite bands: GnR, Tom Petty, Lenny Gravits, Garbage, Offspring, and many more. I spent about 4 years touring with them, 12 to 18 hour days, 300 days a year, 13 states, east and west Canada also. Without a doubt, ladies know how to party in a manner that would put the guys to shame. I feel fortunate to have survived that experience, that's many, many nights of sex, drugs, and well... disco... but seriously. men, go to the strip clubs and feel no guilt, because if you saw how these ladies behave at a show, you would think you were on another planet. Later in life, one of my favorite drinking, gambling, and girl watching buddies, Rosemary was her name, would get me a job taking care of the "Dial A Doll" dancing girls at one of the XXX book stores she managed, this time I would collect the money, and DJ... Strippers are always looking for that song to finish with, the money maker. I'm sure plenty of bills have been slipped into G-stings to the beat of... "Fingertips" .... Poe's music in a sexual context? I'm sure beyond the world of practitioners of "missionary" or "vanilla" sex, the songs " Control " and as I suspected simply off of its title " Hey Pretty " have dark appeal " You get the gist of the song now?
