There was also a terrorist attack on a Navy ship today. But all of this has been brewing for years. Analysts have been predicting a decline of the over-inflated stock market for years, but no one wanted to face that fact because things were so prosperous. Within a few years, we are going to see a whole different side of the economy. I don't see us going to pre-WWII depression days, but there will be a recession. But war might actually be good for the economy (in the amoral corporate government sense). Most of this has been brewing for years. Most of the people in the world want to kill each other. We're not usually right on the potential, but either above it or below it. But anyway, we'll eventually hit a recession, but we'll eventually return to a boom. Rambling always. Think NATO (all the nations) and what it would mean to have a NATO action against Israel...wouldn't that be "all the nations gathered against Israel"? Sort of like Operation Desert Storm but with much more disasterous consequences...as in WWIII maybe:-) The implications are that China/India would be getting into it too...with a 200 million man army (something that was historically impossible till within the last 20 years or so, when China announced they could field an army of exactly that number if they had to). It would also involve the Arabs being betrayed by a "King of the North" (Russia?) Also something about the Eagle (USA?) getting together with the Dragon (China?) to defeat the Bear (Russia?).
