["KyL the Paladin" Subject: Just Barely POE related.... APs, So I walk into the station yesterday and the new poster to promote our concert on Sunday is sitting waiting to be signed by all the acts at the show. Since the art department deals with the promo stuff, I had not previously seen the poster which in addition to promoting this year's show also recaps the last 5 years for this concert. The first thing that catches my eye are the show laminates across the bottom. Then I start to look at the dozen or so photos that make up the border. My heart stops. The top left corner has a 3x4 photo of POE from our 1996 show... While I am still staring stunned at the photo, our Music Director walks by and says, "I told you we had a surprise for you, you POE-HO..." That's my story... I am also going to include the general promo for my webcast at the bottom of this email... Check out Jennifer Nettles (if you don't already have her disc)... Pax, KyL Hi Foks, Just pushing my show on Sunday. We will be broadcasting the show as 28.8, 56.6, and Broadband. The show will run from 14:00 EDT (11:00 PDT) until 23:40 EDT (20:40 PDT). Here is the tentative schedule of the broadcast. 99X.com Big Day Out 2000 Webcast Schedule Sunday October 1, 2000 2:00 - 2:30 Stroke 9 2:30 - 3:00 Ultraspank 3:00 - 3:35 Eve 6 3:35 - 4:05 Linkin Park 4:00 - 4:50 Travis 4:50 - 5:20 SR-71 5:20 - 5:50 Jennifer Nettles 5:50 - 6:05 Mighty Mighty Bosstones Interview 6:05 - 6:35 Mighty Mighty Bosstones 6:35 - 7:20 Disturbed 7:20 - 7:50 Injected 7:50 - 8:00 Deftones Interview 8:00 - 8:45 Papa Roach 8:45 - 9:30 Deftones 9:30 - 11:00 Stone Temple Pilots 11:00 - 11:40 Brand New Immortals ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 29 Sep 2000 22:41:25 GMT From: "Da Poe Junkie" Subject: Poe and a future concert ... maybe? Would anyone happen to have contact information for Poe's management and who I would talk to about booking Poe for a future concert here in Salem, Oregon? I'm working with a concert promoter (who just LOVES her song "Not A Virgin") and we're just curious about what it would take to get her out here. ~jason _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
