Jeez, if you can't make fun of grown-ups wearing diapers, vietnam vets begging for change at the bus stop, and slobbering fools, how are you supposed to feel better about yourself. What do they contribute to the betterment of society? Nothing but burden. They don't even know your making fun of them, so there is no harm. If we can't get rid of them, laugh at them. It would be different if delivery was guaranteed ON release date, (which is what labels usually do for wide release promo copies and sometimes orders to the public, or used to do for orders to the public,) but Atlantic does not do this anymore I have found lately. (I had both a promo copy and purchased-order copy of matchbox 20's new CD coming for me this year, but on teh release date, still found myself at Wal Mart at 2 am buying a copy. Had to have that actual released CD in my hands... the dub wouldn't cut it any more. lol) On fact, I think more people should hold release parties at Wal Marts. You know they will be open, and refreshments are readily available just a few isles over. Can then go congregate in the little cafe area or lounge in the patio furniture area..... Some of the most beautiful people are mentally challanged. Just because they're not Bill Gates doesn't mean that they aren't special in their own way. And it doesn't mean that they are useless in society. It's cruel people like yourself that rip the hearts out of those that you think are immune to your comments. I have worked with special ed students. I have seen a little boy who couldn't utter one word grab at my leg and beg for me not to go. I have seen a girl with a severe learning disability count to ten by herself and feel like a billion dollars. These children will never be "normal" adults under your terms, but they are more innocent and beautiful than someone like you could ever imagine. And, quite frankly, you do not deserve to know. Do you like it when someone rips you a new asshole? When a pretty girl makes fun of your stupid new hair cut...when people don't realize that it's not what outside that matters...its the core on the inside. Its the heart. And whether some "slobbering fool" is useless in your eyes..in anothers he is a father..a mother...a brother..or a lover.. In someone elses eyes he or she has changed the world.. Please remember this the next time you go to laugh at some poor homeless person on the side walk. Everybody is somebody...maybe you just don't know it . jenna ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V5 #239 ***********************************
