Just wanted to let all of you know that Mark's new paperback release of Whalestoe Letters is actually going to hit stores on October 3rd, which is one week EARLIER than the October 10 date that was originally released by Random House. Haunted still comes out on October 31st, and there is rumor that there will be some cross promotion with the two projects (HOL/Whalestoe & Haunted) throughout late October gearing up for a TOUR.... Also, the House of Leaves Community at iUniverse has secured some really cool prizes to give away that are Poe/MZD related... the prizes will probably be sent out in early November, but what I need is some creative psycho input as to what should be done to win the prizes. (for any of you who have dealt with me in particular in the past and know how lax i am with mailing stuff out, rest assured, the prizes will be mailed out from iUniverse in New York, not from me in whatever state I may be in November.) Basically what we are looking for are some essays related to House of Leaves, Haunted and Whalestoe Letters, whether it be your interpretations, a review of the works, a rant about what the book/cd means to you, whatever.... that's up to YOU as the angry psychos to decide... I'm open to any ideas at this time, but sometime in the next week or so, I need to release what the actual essay topics will be, so get the ideas to me as soon as possible.
