Can anyone scan the Haunted review in Maxim, and/or the ad in Spin? I noticed that the ad has a Best Buy logo. Does that just mean it'll be on sale there when it's released, or will we be able to get some neat extra when we buy it? I'm also looking to get photocopied or scanned articles of any print interviews MZD did. All I have is the Newsweek one. Also, if anyone else has spotted anything in other magazines please post... - --Michele ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 7 Sep 2000 02:42:31 EDT From: BulletproofVenus@cs.com Subject: THJ vid Launch.com already had Hello and Angry Johnny and just now added THJ to their videos. - -Shawn Laura Bross http://go.to/BulletproofVenus ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 7 Sep 2000 04:52:37 EDT From: EXej@aol.com Subject: Re: Haunted lyrics? Personally I have been picking away at the book two pages per read, letting them and the suspense play in my mind to be pondered in idle time. By page 100 I was introduced to the music from the new CD, I am savoring the combo of the two with the goal of Oct 15th for finishing the book. There has been talk about the timing of listening to "Haunted" and I have to ask, WHAT is the purpose of ANY group of people that proclaim enough devotion to an artist that they join what is something more than your typical fan club. Inside info, the best seats (pit) in the house, and certainly an early sample of the music are things to hope for, the flip side is that hopefully come October 31st when "Haunted" becomes available for sale there will be a few hundred AP's who have a copy of "House Of Leaves" and "Haunted" who are able to speak on the subject of both to those who will just be getting their initial dose Mark and POE By the way, exej was speaking of a November release date for "Haunted" last week in chat, talk is still going on about a September release date, it certainly has put a damper on CD release party talks, confusion continues to rule the ward, C U 2nite @ 10 PM East, if it's NOV., eYe will g0 mad... Seriously, if you are one who has chose not to read "House Of Leaves" I strongly advise you hustle out and get a copy. sp00k etc ... - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ----------------------------------------- Shes BaaaaaCK!! http://Poe.Org Visit My "POE" Place http://www.sp00k.com See What I See ? http://Go.To/Fairport Hear What I Hear ? http://wber.monroe.edu/live.ram 80K Feed ? http://wber.monroe.edu/live2.ram ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 7 Sep 2000 16:04:07 EDT From: Tinksweedie737@aol.com Subject: NPR Retarded I did not mean any offense to anyone by saying the word retarded.... it's something that I have grown up with and everyone one around me says it as well.
