While a Sept 19th release date seems CERTAIN from all that I have read here, I think this forum will see an increase in activity when people start hearing POE on the local dial. I haven't seen much talk about who's who in the regional chapters of AP's of late, perhaps many AP's are not aware that such things exist, ( see www.angry-psychos.com ) now might be a good time for Regional AP Leaders to speak uP and solicit ideas. Personally, for the Rochester NY area, I'd love to see the CD release party held at Highland Bowl, for multiple reasons, perhaps one of the top reasons would be the fact that it could be an ALL Ages thing. Aside from making it an all ages event ( wherever it is held ) the Bowl is the last place POE played here, to ME it is sort of a POE Mecca... trust me, there is POE spirit all over that place... However, if for some reason the Bowl don't seem like a good idea, Bug Jar would be ok with an 18 and over crowd, not sure about arranging for anybody under 18, but can ask. Well those are just some opening suggestions, hopefully by august 19th with 30 days to go for the official release date, all AP's will be hearing POE on the radio. Along the lines of POE Fever, unfortunately, I was the only one who mentioned POE on last weeks WBER Friday Morning Show (FMS) I know a few AP's wrote to me privately and said that YES they would write wber@monroe.edu ATTN: FMS and let them know that yes you are interested in hearing POE, Hello Robby, Cathy, any other Rochester AP's that are listening, how bout giving WBER a call Friday morning?
