I'm Julia. I'm 16 years old in Vegas so of course I don't liek it too much. I like all kinds of music including punk rawk and jungle. I'm currently falling in love with life still ~*~*~*~ and That Day is my favorite Poe song. Not much more to say since my stomache is all cramped up. Subject: Re: Welcome to angry-psychos-digest I just got back from Vegas (there for a convention) and I will have to say that is one of the most screwed up places on Earth. Every person I talked to who was actually from Vegas was just a little off. The city represents everything that is wrong in the world (money, greed, rampant consumerism, heat, etc.) It was weird being able to drink in a bar at 9 a.m. in the morning. But at least you have 49 cent breakfasts. On Tue, 1 Aug 2000 PnKg0dDeSs@aol.com wrote: > > Hi everyone. I'm Julia. I'm 16 years old in Vegas so of course I don't liek > it too much. I remember a few threads talking of Angry Psycho necklaces, bracelets, jackets, etc. There are a lot of APs out there, I'm sure some of them would like items such as these (I know I would). Does anyone have any way to make 'em? How much would it cost? How long would it take? Is anyone else interested? - --Pix ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 1 Aug 2000 21:47:59 EDT From: Oddity3579@aol.com Subject: Re: Angry Psycho merch I'm interested, I'm interested! The way I figure, we have to come up with a design (and of course, exactly what!) of what we want, and then figure out how much it would cost. I'd like to help design, but it'd be nice to know exactly what the AP ruling is on what it should be. ~Cara ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 1 Aug 2000 21:58:13 EDT From: THC420101@aol.com Subject: Re: Angry Psycho merch Two words..................Copyright infringement. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 1 Aug 2000 22:00:00 EDT From: BoredPiXie@aol.com Subject: Re: Angry Psycho merch How can it be copyright infringment if we made the designs ourselves, though? I doubt Poe or the Angry Psycho name is copyrighted. - --Pix ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 01 Aug 2000 22:09:37 -0400 From: Ed Hunsinger Subject: RE: Angry Psycho merch >===== Original Message From THC420101@aol.com ===== >Two words..................Copyright infringement. As far as I know, Angry-Psychos is not copyrighted by anyone. Who was it that was involved with the AP shirts so many years ago that were handed out at the concerts? Perhaps we should contact the place we got those shirts from again, and order up some new batches with new designs. Like a generic AP shirt that's not specific to a concert. ALthough not as meaningful, they'd still be cool to have. Kent (the honorary AP from Richmond-DC) is a good artist, and I could get him working on some designs, as well as I'm sure the many artists that are subscribed.. :) - -Ed (Divinity) ed@poe.org http://divinity.relic.net ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 1 Aug 2000 22:22:59 EDT From: THC420101@aol.com Subject: Re: Angry Psycho merch Maybe angry psychos isn't, although I'd check on that if I were you. But don't think for a second that POE or her record company will ever let you use the name for profit. But bootlegging is cool so if you make some cool POE key chains, maybe ones that open bottles I'd but one. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 1 Aug 2000 22:47:05 -0400 (EDT) From: Kristina Subject: RE: Angry Psycho merch Cocky did the shirts. It would never be for profit, or at least I hope noone was thinking of making money off of any AP merchandise. The prices would simply be to defray to cost of materials and creation (if any). However, there has been Poe merchandise made in the past, and she had no problem with it. Was it Rusty that was making the jackets (or did he do the tape trees?) my memory sucks. Anyways, someone made jackets with the Poe logo and gave one to Poe, as well as distributed tem to APs with bery little trouble. - -Ed (Divinity) ed@poe.org http://divinity.relic.net ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V5 #189 ***********************************
