Well thanks to my other set of ears, aka catzeye, I heard that WBER had played POE yesterday morning... as I am not an early riser of late :> ... Today was orientation day for my daughter at the local CC, so we were both up by 630 am, I put in a phone call to WBER and the morning host/dj/station manager, Joey Geusto, and said hey this is sp00k the guy who has been driving you nuts the last 5 years, and I missed the new POE yesterday, you gonna play it today? And he said he was checking with the powers that be to see if that was going to be possible, I didn't ask no questions, said thanks and went back to listening. Few minutes later he says he had LOTS of requests for the New POE "Walk The Walk" and that they would be playing it, at 8am I fired of the notice to www.poe.org AP's , by 8:17am they were playing the song, Within seconds of hearing POE, I swear I was just covered with goose bumps, I don't know what it is about that girls voice, I just get the eeriest sensations whenever I hear her, the new song continuing right where she left off with my ears, suddenly there seems no time between the CD's, Some would say I am biased, that no matter what POE put out I would love it, but those who know me would tell you that I am fair, and that if her music was anything less than what we last heard, I'd be the first to admit it, matter of fact, I'm sure if it had been, that my embarrassment would have been apparent. That is not the case, while I am sure there have been lots of ways to describe how one feels about music, and I'd certainly use the words, joyful and happy for "walk the walk" but proud is also a word that comes to mind, for all those who said POE was a one hit wonder, open wide, your ears that is, soon you will find yourself singing a new tune, a POE tune that is LOL Now it appears that they are only playing it in the morning, I'm going to call and request it tho, soon as I fire this off and the Simpson's are over... I guess if you want to catch it you should listen in the A.M. tho, they start the morning show at like 630 AM I think, I'm mostly familiar with the 630PM time zone.....
