Scratch your writings on these PUBLIC walls, PR, KPR, NPR, who cares, why? Read on and learn more!! Post and read from ANY web browser @ school, work, home, prison, wherever, in a threaded hypertext format that allows for some "content moderation tools" such as e-mail / IP blocking, and message deletion. From that very same page near the top you will find a link for POE CHAT using the Java based ParaChat, that requires you be a registered member of http://www.xoom.com to enter. The chat offers very strong "moderation tools" ALL AP's are invited, and cross posting from this list to the http://back.to/poe forum is encouraged by ME and would be greatly appreciated. A word on "Moderation" I have raised the topic of the poe.org chatroom on numerous occasions with no luck, last time I got a huge rush when Jarrod instantly e-mailed me back that he also missed the good times of past and that he had dug up the code for the old style chatroom but had reservations about posting it. I expect at sometime the unmoderated chat at poe.org will return and I look forward to that day, others will not. At this time I offer moderated chat that will I hope evolve to a point where I am at most a player in any moderation process, as far as "moderating" the forum, simply not clicking on an offending thread is the best form of censorship, I'm very liberal and am really only interested in allowing people to feel free to express original thoughts in the knowledge that ridicule for the sake of personal pleasure won't be allowed. While posters to the forum are required to leave an e-mail address with each new message, you are free to lie to avoid Spam, however, you might WANT some responses, so I advise that you do as I did, get a new account at http://hotmail.com for mail that mite be generated from this forum, but also because of the Spam shield features that hotmail offers. While I am not, nor have I ever claimed to be, a founding member of the AP Family, I guess I have been around long enough to remember much of what was good around here when things were busy. I also remember what it was like being new to this already well established and busy list and getting lost in a sea of names. I anticipate that POE's "NEXT CD" is going to be a major success, more than anybody can imagine, I expect the ranks of the AP's will swell into the thousands, I hope EVERYBODY will find POE in these additional formats to be a worthy supplement to the resources that already exist on the internet. OK come leave your 2 cents for free @ http://back.to/poe I'm certainly not certain this will be a hit but in the spirit of CHANGE that seems to be riding the wind I hope ALL will be very open minded about the near future and give it a l00k and a post. thanx sp00k etc ... - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ----------------------------------------- Hear What I Hear ? http://wber.monroe.edu/live.ram 80K Feed ? http://wber.monroe.edu/live2.ram See What I See ? http://Go.To/Fairport Want To Chat About It ? http://Webzone.Dal.Net/ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Apr 2000 22:05:36 EDT From: GWoot284@aol.com Subject: Re: SHIT npr uh-oh, here we gooooooo..... -gabrielle ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Apr 2000 22:18:03 EDT From: KrodKnid@aol.com Subject: Re: SHIT npr In a message dated 4/27/2000 10:05:36 PM Eastern Daylight Time, GWoot284 writes: << uh-oh, here we gooooooo..... -gabrielle >> I got out my asbestos suit:-) Bring on the flames!!
