Well ,the war in Viet Nam has been replaced by the war on YOU. And the military industrial complex has been replaced with the legal-incarceration complex! After all , the US needs to remain competitive with China in producing goods and services using forced (read: extremely CHEAP) labor. Prisoners provide that valuable service. Now , I was too lazy to find up-to-date figures ,but here's a link for you.....its just some numbers and will only take a second to look at.Please go there and do so. It's http://sun.soci.niu.edu/~critcrim/prisons/pris.pop It's a few years out of date but the trend is clearly disturbing... Also you will find the State-owned media will be full of anti-gun propaganda this evening in celebration of the school shooting last year. I know how compelling the images and sounds will be , but keep in mind that an unarmed populace are sheep to be shorn , and you should fear the government that fears your gun."Those who sacrifice essential Liberty in exchange for Security will end up with NEITHER" And fear the government that wants to take your freedom and enslave you because you smoke weed or crack or whatever is in your pipe at 4:20 this afternoon. HAARP is military/industrial complex stuff disguised as peaceful experimentation. It has to do with shooting gigantic, powerful electromagnetic impulses into the ionosphere using a grid of antennas. I am pretty sure it is a protraction of the electromagnetic physics of Nicola Tesla, since he did that too. He was the "father" of A.C. current that is used as out main source of power today, among other things, but the feds had him working on an electromagnetic death ray during WW II until they got the nuke and went with that instead. At any rate, despite many, many valid peacetime uses, HAARP also has a very real potential as a weapon more powerful than a nuke and also such terrifyingly totalitarian ramifications as "mind control". I believe that the ultimate aim will be to actually form electron pathways in the ionosphere and hardwire the whole thing using computer controlled antenna grids on the ground to maintain the "wiring". The ionosphere is from 7 to 12 miles thick and surrounds the earth...imagine it as an LSI "macrochip" and think virtual reality. This is no joke, and it is up and running as we speak, not just a "paper project" like Star Wars pretty much was. BTW, guess who's name is on the bill that funded the project initially...Newt Gingrich (from way before he morphed into Newt the Glute). There is a book called "Angels Don't Play on This HAARP" as well as a lot of other anti-HAARP stuff out there.
