Several of you have received e-mails from me, but I yet to actually introduce myself formally. So here goes. I am, like some of you, a returning fan. I heard Poe's single "Angry Johnny" when it first hit the charts and instantly fell in love with her voice. However after hearing it constantly on the radio I lost track of it and forgot her. Only recently did I find myself in a Media Play store thumbing through the CDs when I found the "Hello" album and all those warm memories came flooding back. Now despite my first love of the song "Angry Johnny," I tend to listen to other tracks such as "Hello," "Another World, and "Fingertips" more. Other artists I like to listen to are: "Rob Zombie," "Nine Inch Nails," "Marilyn Manson," "Garbage," "Enigma," "Red Hot Chili Peppers," and lots of various soundtracks. I am also currently reading her brother MZD's book, "House of Leaves." You must imagine my surprise to have read the review in Newsweek prior to reading the book; finding out that they were siblings! I'm liking this book so much I've begun developing an unofficial website for it. I will send you all the URL when it is up. One of the features will contain the complete decoded text of the letter from Johnny Truant's Mom (pg. 620-623). (Hmm Johnny Truant, Angry Johnny, same guy?) As well as conceptual pictures I've generated using the text as a guide. Personally I can't wait for her new album to be released. Maybe I'll be able to use some of it on my website. Oh and just so the head guys don't get upset about my site I include clearly visible links to both poe.org and houseofleaves.com. If you have any questions about myself or my upcoming site feel free to e-mail me.
