I'm just curious to know if anyone listened to the last track on the CD, the Score-medley from the movie. If so, then you'll notice that the suite ALSO features POE singing on it. (No words, but she does sing.) Just thought I'd point that out, in case any of you people who always skip the track (or tracks) on a sountrack that say "movie score" on them. The concept of being able to SEND money to a friend via E-Mail struck me as UNIQUE that is why this particular offer got posted. I suspect MANY people on this list will enjoy shuffling funds between concert sites, dorms, pizza joints, etc... I think the last time I had to defend posting a freebie to the list I said if I knew where to get a Free CD I would more than likely tell people on the list. This offer lets you become your own Western Union and gives you enough cash to buy the CD that you want. If you still got a problem with this, let me know, I will e-mail you a quarter, from my brand spankin new, for free, online money god. I'm sure you will know what to do with it. :-> sp00k - ----- Original Message ----- From: Chris Nalesnik To: Sent: Tuesday, February 08, 2000 3:47 AM Subject: Re: angry-psychos-digest V5 #29 > > sp00k... > > You're selling out. > > That should be punishable by law. I was amazed with the site he put a link to.. I'm very interested in it and probably will sign up when I get a few paychecks in my pocket.. Hell $20 for free, a debit card, plus ability to send cash on the internet. Imagine the possibilities.. Stuff like this doesn't get started without word of mouth, hence referral incentives. So what, sp00k gets $10, but he pointed out a damn cool site. Now if he had posted something about AllAdvantage, GotoWorld, or any of those pieces of shit, he would have promptly been castrated. :) - -Ed ed@poe.org http://divinity.relic.net ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 8 Feb 2000 10:53:13 -0500 From: "Chris Nalesnik" Subject: NPR : Re: angry-psychos-digest V5 #29 Whats with the angry response? Re: angry-psychos-digest V5 #29 Your right, it could be taken as an angry response, if I dont end up getting TOS'd for trying to do a good deed I will give whatever referal bux I get from the AP list to http://www.laff.org if you sign up, e-mail me privately, there is a 1,000 dollar limit on referals, anybody who e-mails me that they signed up and I can verify it by getting credit for it in this account, if they dont shut me down for complaintsl, etc... www.laff.org can have the money unfortunately www.laff.org dosent seem to be online, if you don't know bout www.laff.org I suspect it is POE's favorite people helping people project. I will keep the list posted on what the total number of people and who they are, as there is a 100 person limit obviously if the entire list responds I will hit the 1,000 limit. If I get TOS'd by the bank because of a couple of complaints this offer will become VOID. sp00k P.S. What is WITH YOU GUYS? This list isn't about divisions. It's a fan base, where people don't have to expect dickheads. I made the site suggestion as such: >Basically, an html incarnartion of this list, and an add-on to ap.org. What I MEANT to say.. Let me clarify: an ADD ON to what is out there now. Something to bring ap's into the 21st century, something more inclusive. I'm aware of what is out there, and have ideas about what COULD be out there. But it would have to be a collective effort of the ap's. What the fuck is this?? >OMG!!!! What a novel idea!! Maybe we could make a chat room on there >and a >messageboard and Poe pics and discography... and... get this... we >could >call it... POE.ORG!!! Is it necessary to hide all aspects of friendliness here? As far as "old timers" go, I've been around since 98. That is a sufficiently long time, and shound NOT be an issue as to who is most deserving of respect. Talk about petty. I thought the whole idea of ap's was to band together. And as far as sp00k's suggestion goes... I'm glad that sp00k tried to help us all out. I get 3+ such letters in my mailbox everyday (as I'm sure you all do), and it shocked me to see it in the ap letter. I commented, not an attack, in jest, and I really am sorry for offending anyone. I have a lot of respect for the ideals of the ap's. Let love rule, man. ~Chris ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V5 #30 **********************************
