["Courtney Davids" Subject: NPR: Sexual Assualt in music? What is really meant by the line isn't what's really important. It's the public's inconsistancy with their judgement of music. Matchbox 20 got a bunch of guff for their song "Push"...people were thinking that "I wanna push you around" was promoting violence against women, when in reality they totally missed the point. So the fact that no one has raised a ruckus about this song is kinda confusing. If we, as a society, are going to judge something, in this case music, we should use the same standards to judge all songs.
