I just wanted to share this I signed my prev. e-mail with part of a spoken word track that was written after the Thurston H.S. shootings... and I just felt like posting the whole thing. Some have heard it, some have not, and if you haven't, i think it's worth checking out. This is the segment titled "If It Were Up To Me" - part of a medly of two songs that were combined to create the song "Right Now" that was recored by Garth Brooks under the name Chris Gaines. I think that it's a very good piece. Cheryl Wheeler originally wrote it, and to see something so powerful be picked up in less than a year and released worldwide is a great thing.
