You mean people aren't already doing that? I've actually seen a somewhat frightening number of 17-23 year olds that I know starting the retro-80s craze -- it appears to be accelerating ever since the whole 70s craze started. At the rate we're going, I estimate that, by the time 2010 rolls around, any kids we may/may not have will either A) be interested the most in the current fashions and culture, B) Be so far ahead that they'll be wearing stuff from the future, or C) the retro crazes will run dry and be forced to start completely over, possibly influencing people to wear fashions from the late 18th century. Just two cents from the new guy on the list. :o) Daniel ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 25 Sep 1999 21:09:20 +0100 From: Renski Subject: Re: holy 80's! Things go back in and out all the time, for the fist 12 years of my life I wore all the latest fashion, and listened to the latest music, but then I decide, "fuck it all", and now I wear what I like, not what some one else tells me too, if you ask me, the big company's force fashion changes so we all have to go out and buy a new wardrobe. - -Darren CrzyDimund@aol.com wrote: > Okay so I'm sitting in English class and my professor sees me wearing my > Rolling Stones shirt and was like "oh they were so popular in my day, it's > nice to see good music make a come back." I do know that lockness is not spell't like that, but I can't be bothered to look in my draw of stuff (a draw which has no real reason to exist other than to put things which don't really go anywhere). ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 25 Sep 1999 16:42:58 EDT From: KrodKnid@aol.com Subject: Re: holy 80's!
