To tell you more about it, I've enclosed a copy of a press release that is going out to the media in my community. I realize that this is late notice and that many APs are not from the Los Angeles area, but I would appreciate it if you would try to attend this event or tell others about it. Thanks. Bich Ngoc ============================== NEWS RELEASE Candlelight vigil to be held for Colorado shooting victims in Monterey Park By Bich Ngoc Cao Members of the Monterey Park and surrounding communities will gather at Barnes Park on Friday, April 30 from 7 to 10 p.m. to hold a candlelight vigil for the recent Littleton, Colorado shooting victims. Monetary donations for funeral services will also be accepted. Barnes Park is located at 350 S. McPherrin Ave., Monterey Park, CA. I just joined the mailing list and I would like to introduce myself. My name is Rick Harrell and I'm from Central Ohio, but next month I'm relocating to Kansas City. I'm 21 and first heard of Poe in the Spring of '97. I really got into her album and I swear I about wore out the tape listening to it on the way to work that summer! I really felt that she was singing from the heart and that her style was uniquely original and a fresh sound in the crowd. Honestly, I listened to other things along with that tape lately, and when I downloaded MP3 songs for the collection I came across some from the Hello album. I really got to thinking that she should be having a new CD out soon, but couldn't find much info on it until I came across poe.org. I was really concerned that she may have given up on the music biz. Can I find out more about the possibility of the new album? I also want to communicate that Poe does have loyal fans who still support her works. I'll probably be joining the Psycho Ward soon, so I hope to have correspondence with the members then. To the people managing these sites, keep up the great work, I am truly glad that this was here! - -Rick Harrell ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 27 Apr 1999 22:28:34 -0400 From: "amato" Subject: RE: Is anyone else getting these error messages?
