The soundtrack to the upcoming Susan Sarandon film, "Anywhere But Here" (April 23), will feature new songs from a slew of big name female singer/songwriters, including Jewel, Tori Amos, Shawn Colvin and Poe. The soundtrack, due April 6, also will feature a score composed by ex-Oingo Boingo leader Danny Elfman. Listening to CDNow's sound clips, it seems like at least Feels Like Home and You Can Fly (mebbe it's Try, that's what it sounds like) have her backing vocals. Unless they actually have a backup singer that sounds like Poe too ;P The album is on Hollywood, guess Poe likes recording for that label or something... ;) It comes out on the 12th.
