So there were some good snippets, and he also said this: In fact, Matt Sorum, the drummer (of Guns N' Roses) and I are involved in a little project right now, getting something heavy together with Steve Caton from Tori Amos's band, having a lot of fun... Sounds killer, something to look forward to if they release anything ::) The whole interview should be up on http://donnadelory.simplenet.com sometime soon. Lots of discussion of Donna's experiences while touring with Madonna. - --Michele ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 14 Dec 1998 17:17:55 -0500 From: Robby Black Subject: Re: lots of cello Last i heard Toby was in on that project too... - -robby At 03:56 PM 12/14/98 EST, VR5SBloom@aol.com wrote: > >I just got a tape of the radio interview Bliss did in Boston last Thursday, >and the interviewer was so tickled by the idea of rock cello that they made >Cameron play. A lot of people were expecting a sequal to Odelay, but this new album is a masterpiece all by itself. It's a lot more mellow and well Voice-y-er than the songs off Odelay (kinda dating back to One Foot in the Grave days) and the songs still have that wondeful Beck charm that makes ya kinda smile when you listen to them closely. Anyways, if you are a fan of Beck (post Loser people!!), go buy yourself Mutations for Christmas (or Chanukkah for those Jewish Beck Fans like myself) and if you don't love it, you can send me all the hate mail you like! ~*elissa ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 14 Dec 98 18:32:31 PST From: forestsylph@joymail.com Subject: Re: NPR: interviewing i wish manson would have done it too.... that was the lamest interview i have ever seen. i spent most of the time staring, fascinated, at manson's lovely shimmering suit. (i must give him props for his clothes- the man can dress now) as for conversation, he lacked the usual wit and nastiness, just coming off boring and drugged up. i had more fun watching the Bob Dole interview- and you KNOW that's pathetic! > > >Id have to say when manson appeared on letterman was probably the best >late night interview I have ever seen.
