I hate Geri because she never fit in. While the others were thinking before they talked, she was blabbing away about feminism and Girl Power and hugging trees (Hell, the rest of the girls make fun of her in the B-Side "Spice Invaders") She was the heavy makeup-wearing, flamboyant, look-at-me Spice. She's also the only one to change her Spice name (from Sexy to Ginger). Melanie C's duet with Brian Adams kicks ass, as does the new Spice Girls song- even those non-SGs fans who like "Viva Forever" like my friends will like it. First of all I'm going to explain to you what I didn't like about the movie Meet Joe Black. after i'm done doing that i'll just type until i get bored. after that i'll probably walk away from my computer, go watch tv, or maybe go outside. I'm not sure yet...it could go anyway...that's how crazy my life is. Anyway, saturday night i went and i saw psycho with winona ryder (name changed to protect true identity). winona told me she wanted to go see meet joe black. i told her it was a chick flick and that we should sneak into some other movie that might better. but i glanced at the board and there was nothing else playing that looked even remotely decent. so i caved in and winona won. (i still paid to get in to see psycho-not meet joe black) psycho was alright i guess. it was faithful to the original so i was pleased with that aspect. but after that was done winona and i walked in and sat down to watch meet joe black. now mind you, i was incredibly sick at this point. i came down with a cold this weekend. but i persisted. meet joe black is a hardcore chick flick. let me say that right now so everyone can be mad at me for being insensitive. i sat down and there was this girl sitting a seat over and i think she started crying during the previews (okay, maybe i'm stretching it a bit). the best part in this movie was when brad pitt got hit by a car. he got hit once, flew up into the air, bounced off another car, then landed on the ground where he was run over by the traffic. i was laughing so hard i thought i was going to pass out from lack of oxygen. but after that point the movie became every drama i've ever seen in my life-long, boring, drawn out lines punctuated by dramatic silence. after i've been sitting through this for about two hours i wondered what the hell was going on so i asked winona what the deal was. apparently meet joe black is the longest movie ever made. i was not happy at this point. now normally i have a little witty exchange with the on-screen characters quietly to myself either in a whisper or merely in my head. after the two hour mark came i was mad so i started talking, loudly...and i also spit out vulgarity. this was in very poor taste but i did it because the movie was lame, the audience was crying about it, and i was sick. they got what they deserved. so anyway, the chick that was sitting a seat over from me actually kicked me at one point in the movie. that's quite a kick and i was impressed by the effort she exerted. in other words, i didn't scream bloody murder. i did start coughing, then i sneezed. then i continued with my tirade. the girl continued to cry but then i won the war. she tried to hold it in but she just couldn't because i'm so funny-she laughed. yup, and it was during one of those big dramatic pauses. i said something mean spirited to anthony hopkins and that was that. to make a long story not so long-i got home at 3, took my nyquil and went to sleep. now let's talk about some more serious issues. my health is improving so i guess i'm not going to die quite yet. i've taken up hunting this girl from a tori amos chat room i found. that's been distracting me from my work on my website. and so...i must place a call out to all my fellow psychos. Those who are interested in having their picture on the Xeno Xone and becoming what basically amounts to a superstar should contact me. i'll fill you in with the details then. it's going to be very fun, trust me. -Xeno ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://travel.to/xeno/ "I hate you and you and you. Hey guys, this doesn't have anything to do with POE at ALL, but since this reaches a good deal of people, I thought I'd give it a shot. I have to think of a new product for my economics class, and I thought of something, but I'm not sure if it's an actual product yet. I thought of a car with some special voice-activated functions. For instance, you'd say, "Cruise control set 65," or "Temperature set 72." You get the idea. Anyway, I figured somebody else has already thought of it, but that it might be marketed or available in cars yet. If anybody knows, please email me and let me know. Thanks, Erin P.S.
