I didn't really know what to expect from it. I expected I would buy it, play it until I saw Poe and then stop. Well, I've been playing for about 1 1/2 hrs, and I'm tearing myself away from it to type this. I'm on the 4th or 5th level, I think, I haven't met Poe yet. :( I'm just so afraid I won't want to kill her when I get to her! I think she is next though, cause I already killed Death, and the way it sounds Plague is next. Anyway, the reason I'm sending this is that I think it would be interesting to most APs to know about her character. Here it is, right out of the game instruction booklet. :) BTW: Her character's name is Mary Magdalene, who is also the Plague. "Mary Magdalene is a sexy rock diva with a global following. Her curvaceous body is always wrapped in skin-tight fashions of leather and automated nino-fiber. Mary's performances burst ear drums and break hearts from Maine to Morocco. During the height of her popularity, Mary died under mysterious circumstances. Her corpse was stolen from the morgue by devoted fans. But she turned up several days later alive and well. Mary looked sexier than she had in years. Apparently, it was just the latest publicity stunt from rock 'n roll's most controversial siren. She is just as popular as ever, even as her once easygoing lyrics have taken a turn to the dark side. Some have accused her of delivering the Reverend's fatalistic message to the unwashed masses. One thing everyone agrees on is that when Mary grinds her sinful curves against guitar and roars to the audience about the coming Apocalypse, doomsday doesn't seem so bad after all." OK, so when was this morgue robbery you guys planned?? Why wasn't I invited? :-) ************************************ "I've taken Control" --"Control" P(*)E ************************************ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Dec 1998 22:20:22 -0600 From: "Notajunkie" Subject: RE: PR: Jewel & Apocalypse When I get that part I could try. I have my Playstation running through my stereo for the best sound, I could try to put it on tape and then play the tape and get it on the puter using my mic. If I can get it good, with good quality, I'll let ya know. I also see in the credits that their is a director for the "video". Does that mean the music video for Control is sometimes played on those screens through-out the levels??
