Be careful not to drool on any innocent concertgoers...or anything else...(some guy at a tori amos club show i went to decided it was appropriate to whack off during a very intense performance of The Waitress) so dont do that, ok? steve ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 8 Nov 1998 09:01:27 -0500 From: "Bill Holz" Subject: RE: npr......l andreone Well, you're free to like and dislike whoever you like, I also dislike several artists others do not like. However, throwing out apparently 'made up' information (the songwriting issue earlier) and 'slamming' other artists with obviously little or no knowledge is hardly the hallmark of an intelligent response. For example, I am not a big country fan . . yet you won't hear me saying that a particular artist is bad just because they're not a good match for my preferences or because some song rubbed me the wrong way. I won't formulate an opinon until I've listened to a lot of their work with an open mind and understand them. If I choose not to then I acknowledge that I have no clue what I'm talking about on the subject, but I'm free to say that they didn't inspire me to persue things further or that I simply didn't like a song or two. Of course, that's probably a good thing. . I wasn't amazingly impressed with 'Hello'. Yet when a friend reccomended I listen to Poe's Cd I did so with an open mind. . and I discovered an amazing artist and was truly touched by her music. :) - -Bill > mmm...i like poe...and i dont like the nasal leah andreone... > > *why am i such a mis fit* > > steve > > "Give me religion...and a lobotomy" > > --tori amos *beulah land* > > On Sun, 8 Nov 1998, Erin Kyles wrote: > > > > > Leah Andreone is the BEST!!!!
