I went with 3 other people, and we were all pretty upset. I couldn't have left my seats if I wanted to, or else I'd have fallen out of the balcony from trying to squeeze through the people. It may have - -supposed- to have had 17 songs, but she only played 5. And, as I pointed out, she also came on considerably later than she was supposed to, which may have accounted for it. >The setlist according to tori.by.net was: >Precious Things, Cruel, Caught A Lite Sneeze, Jackie's Strength, God, >Cornflake Girl, Winter (solo), Cooling (solo), Putting The Damage On, Spark, >Raspberry Swirl, The Waitress >1st Encore: She's Your Cocaine, iieee >2nd Encore: Horses > >I can't figure out where you might have been for the other songs ;> > >--Michele > > Alyssa ************ "I must apologize for the lack of bloodshed in tonight's program. I went to see Poe at T.T. the Bear's in Cambridge, MA ( for those of you who don't know it's near Boston) It was the best and worst night ever. First off I couldn't find a parking spot anywhere so we parked in back of this Restaraunt about 3 blocks away...no big...Then I find out that i don't have my tickets and it's to far to go back and get them. So there we are majorly Bummed out :( but we decide to stay around anyway and maybe catch Poe after the show. So we hang out a bit and it starts to get chilly so we go back to the car to get our jackets and it's GONE!!! My car is GONE!! After much panic I notice a sign that says "No Parking You will be towed" and it give a number to call. I call, and yes my car has been towed and it will cost me $80 to get it back. The tow place is off in East Chuckafuck somewhere, and it would cost about another $80 to get a cab there, so we call some friends who live nearby and have them drive us there to get my car. At this point my date decides she's had enough and wants to go home. :((( So I take her home (she lives nearish to T.T.'s) and I figure What the hell, I'm here in Cambridge the show's probably long over I might as well go see if I can see Poe. Back I go...The last people in line were just about to go in and I could hear "Angry Johnny" through the open door...Well I stand near the door like the Addict that I am(any Poe is good Poe) felling all sorry for myself when this couple says to me "are you going in?" and I tell them my story and say no and she says"well we have an extra ticket do you want it?" (DO I WANT IT? YOU BETCHA!) He was gonna charge me for it, but she changed his mind (Thanks!)and in I go!! I muscle my way to Stage Left Front and bask in the Glow that is Poe...But two songs later she is done; she jumps off stage and grabs me by the hand and we go back to her Bus and chat for about an hour...:) :) :) I come to find out that there was a major technical breakdown and 5 songs was all she had time for. So the point to all this is that maybe Tori's show got cut short due to technical failure, not any wish on her part. -Trav- ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V3 #302 ***********************************
