Hey everybody, I'm new to the list & I thought I'd introduce myself..cuz I wanted to, of course. (Please, no fire!!) My name's Dese'Rae Lynn. I'm from Miami; no, not Ohio, and I'm 15. I first heard Poe not too long ago, maybe 2-3 months when I was listening to the radio & I had the good fortune to hear "Angry Johnny." I was like, "Oh my God, who is this chick?! She kicks so much ass!!" That was one out of 2 times I've ever heard her on the radio. Then I saw her on "Loveline," & I was like "Ok, I've gotta get her album." So I did & all I can say is "Wow!" ...And Poe acquires another life-long fan. Other musicians I listen to: (V)etallicA, Manson, Fuel, Candlebox, Bauhaus, Cranberries, Cure, I...Mobius, Alanis, Nirvana, SP, Green Day, Ozzy, Sara McLaughlan, Paula Cole, Jewel, Shawn Colvin, Korn, Deftones, Hole, Creed, Veruca Salt, etc. Other interesting stuff: (Well, maybe not interesting) I play the flute, piccolo, & I'm teaching myself to play the guitar & clarinet. I also write poetry. www.geocities.com/athens/troy/6862/ (No Poe page yet, sorry) Pics of me: www.geocities.com/athens/troy/6862/desuni.jpg www.geocities.com/athens/troy/6862/destom.jpg ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 10 Oct 1998 07:06:30 EDT From: CrzyDimund@aol.com Subject: Re: new album I think the new Liz Phair album is pretty good. Not her best, but pretty worthwhile. It sounds more like Guyville than Whipsmart, and the songs are a lot more radio friendly. Aaahhh I just found out she was on Roise O'Donnel *shivers in fear* and I missed it!! i love liz! Go buy her new cd. if you like guyville, you'll like it. ~*EL ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 10 Oct 1998 11:07:46 -0400 (EDT) From: Rebecca Lynn Clark Subject: Re: Tastes Better-Less Filling um...you are forgetting the Indians who sell out almost every game...=) (i love omar vizquel =P~~~) Peace, Love, & Poe, - -Becky becky@poe.org Poetry page: http://www.pathetic.org/member-works.cgi?siteid=876026929 On Fri, 9 Oct 1998, Kung-Gene Chu wrote: > > Hmm...I was wondering what happened to the list.
