(jezebel) In church today, we were talking about Jezebel and how she mislead so many people by saying she was a prophet and she had the answers to many questions. Her punishment was that she was over come with germs and who ever slept with her got a STD (well, that is the modern version, the bible talks about gonarea and syfilis --I can't spell those things, sorry). So, did Poe just hear the name Jezebel somewhere or, what? I don't have a bible, but I know that the passages where Jezebel is talked about are in Revelations 2:18-26. I am pretty sure. Oh and by the way, I am not preaching to anyone. I just though it was interesting to be hearing the same names in church and in the music I listen to. okay? okay. Please Please Please don't flame me. I am just asking a question. SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (AP) _ Jerry Garcia's heart simply gave out, the coroner has concluded. The Grateful Dead leader had used heroin within days of his death at a rehab center Aug. 9, but that didn't contribute directly to his heart attack, Marin County coroner's investigator Gary Erickson said Tuesday. ``He was a 53-year-old man with hardening of the arteries,'' he said. ``This was a mechanical process.''Tests results indicate that the guitarist's most recent use of heroin was ``likely from before the time'' he entered the rehabilitation facility. Despite a diabetic coma in 1986 that damaged his heart, Garcia had a difficult time exercising and staying on a diet. He was admitted to a hospital in 1991 when he became exhausted. Two of three arteries leading from Garcia's heart had been reduced to ``a pinpoint'' with 85 percent blockage, Erickson said. The third artery had 30 percent blockage. The Grateful Dead has been one of the nation's most popular concert acts for years, grossing more than $50 million in ticket sales last year. I would say giving it one star is probably kind of generous, but it deserves more than zero. I think partial stars may be needed. I was pumped before it came out, but I guess I was also sort of expecting to be disapointed, just not that disapointed. The show was so wonderful, there was so much that could have been done with the movie. I figured it would be like Mission Impossible: decent movie that doesn't do the show justice, and not as good as I had hoped. I mean, yeah, there were parts where Uma was hot, and Ralph Fines made a pretty cool Steed, but that was no where near enough to make the whole movie worth while.
