I got a copy of the Jones tape "Stripped" and the 8th cut on it is titled "Little Man". It's the story of a man who bemoans his stature while never recognizing that others do "look up" to him. I'm 5' 6" depending on who you talk to, and have never considered my height to be an issue that causes me worry. I have an older brother who is 5' 2" he started lifting weights as a teen in response to being picked on, he went on to earn black belts in two forms of karate (Ishun Ru and Tai Kwando) as part of his exercise routine he was out roller skating with two friends, one an olympic boxer, and the other the owner of a true muscle building iron pumping gym. All three got held up at knife point, and chose to flee, based on the theory that if the guy with the knife gets lucky he just might stab you right in your heart, the next day my brother promptly got a pistol permit For my part, well I am an AP, and if you mess with me via brutality I will counter with my mind in ways that leave my sign but you will never prove it, a couple of good doses will leave you paranoid, which is exactly where I will keep you. Funny thing bout that 5' 2" brother of mine, as a teen he was an avid disco dancer, an extorvert always telling jokes and working on comedey skits the life of the party. He set the school poll volting record while studying commercial art, he enjoyed a social life that I envied. As a young adult, he was driving down the road with his future wife one day, and he saw a sign on a club touting an amature male stripper contest, as a competing body builder, and still an avid dancer, he half jokingly said he thought he would try it out. His girlfriend said he was too short and would get laughed off the stage, she still regrets those words. He entered the contest, and got hired by a local club that had a ladies nite once per week. Well this was befor the time of the "Chip and Dales Male Dance Show" and he got together with another dancer and decided to go independent, they drew a 10 mile radius around our city and started calling the local clubs seeing if they would be interested in hosting a ladies nite. Well I went to work for them as the DJ, got paid 110 dollars a nite, while the dancers were drawing more than 300 a nite, the best year we had we worked 300 days in one year from Florida to West Canada. Sorry to be so long on this short subject... I am often amazed at how people can make broad judgements based on? Based on what? I once saw a man with NO legs win a barroom fight over a pool game, and I guess its ok for tall guys to think short girls are "cute" but when its the same tone they use when they see a puppy, well....... eYe h0pe 2 C U " Shortly" via irc.us.dal.net #poe #angry-psychos 1234am east, or 00:34 if ya like "little" numberz hee he...
