I am currently awaiting call-backs and confirmation from Atlantic and Interscope Records, but was curious to know if you had more information regarding both the collaboration and the organization the single will benefit. More specifically, I have the following inquiries: 1. What is Levar's last name and when was LAFF formed? Where is it based? 2. How did organization contact Stefani and Poe and engage their services for the project? Please feel free to contact me here at MTV at 212.258.8563 or by e-mail at MTVc15@aol.com. The boy makes me realise no matter how bad things get, no matter how empty i may feel, i rise the next day, and to him and L.A.F.F. i wish all the luck in the world. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 19 Jun 1998 00:52:05 -0400 From: Ed Hunsinger Subject: Re: Rise and Shine idea At 05:15 PM 6/18/98 -0500, Jason Capriotti wrote: > >Here's my idea: BUY A LOT OF COPIES > >* Give them to your friends as gifts. >* Compete with other APs to see who can get the most copies. >* Pass them out on street corners (okay, not plausible, but I wanted >three items) > >Think of the benefits: > >* Your unenlightened friends will become hooked on Poe. >* Rise and Shine itself will gain popularity as a song. >* MOST IMPORTANTLY... I love the intro, and both versions of the song are pretty good. I still kinda wish they had put the older version one the single, but oh well, at least we got to hear it, and make an mp3 of it... btw, Robby, can I let people download the older version of Rise and Shine (without the choir and all)??
