I am Gemini. 2) Where are you from? I'm from Mississippi. 3) How old are you? That depends on what age you want... 4) Where did you first hear Poe? I first heard Poe at my friend Molly's house. 5) What other musicians do you listen to? I listen to Alanis Morissette, Marilyn Manson, NIN, Aerosmith, Jewel, Fiona Apple, Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ozzy Osbourne, and many others. 6) Other interesting info about yourself. That is for me to know...you may one day find out...sooner or later... This has been a blast...Au revoir. Till then... Eternaly, Gemini (a.k.a. Wow... loaded question. Ya know, I never knew that Moonpools & Caterpillars even shared the same genre of music as Poe but hey... there's people on this list who also like Brahms, I'm told. ;-) As for other artists I've discovered accidentally... I found Milla by sifting through a friend's CD's while he was on vacation. I liked it so much I ended up, um, "borrowing" it. (note: I still have it :) I came across both That Dog and Star 69 in a $4.99 bin at the local mom & pop record shop, bought both of them and now listen to them regularly. Three years ago I was roaming through Tower when I came across a CD that just had this unusual cover that struck my fancy so I bought it. Happily, I am now a loyal Tricky fan and can't wait for "Angels With Dirty Faces", his next LP. Chimera, who I first heard on one of those late-night indie shows, was a pleasant surprise... their Earth Loop CD is pretty awesome. And finally, the Honeyrods. I thought the first single they released here in Nashville (which is where they're from and also where I live) was kinda shallow but since I support local artists with all my endeavor I bought the CD and it rocked. There's tons more... I'm an impulse buyer when it comes to music. I've got a MASSIVE collection of CD's (could easily top 1000 by the end of the year) and love ALL types of music (well, there's proviso's). But I think the ones mentioned are pretty appealing and worth checking out. For once this is not just a shameless plug for my web site, but actually contains useful POE INFORMATION! Many of you have been wondering if POE will be appearing with Fastball in a city near you to sing their song "Way To The Top" with them. Well, unfortunately, she will not be going on the tour with them but she was at the show last night in Hollywood, California at the Palladium. I ran into her before the show and she did tell me she was singing that song with them last night. Unfortunately, photographers are only allowed to photograph the first 3 songs. HOWEVER, I received permission from POE and Fastball's tour manager to photograph POE performing last night. I will have the photos soon and will place them on Concert Direct for all to look at. But let me tell you this - she looked absolutely stunning! Okay, well that was the major POE information, but here are some more little tidbits for you: + Apocolypse (the video game) has been pushed back until early 1999 because, according to POE, the game is very graphic intensive and complicated and they keep adding more levels and features to it. + POE will soon be recording a song with a band called Super 8 (GREAT BAND) and will appear on their next album. Coincidentally, Supoer 8 is also on Hollywood Records (like Fastball). + POE's brother Mark was at the show and if any of you care, his book is still in the works and will be out... well, eventually he told me. Currently, if it were published as is, it would be over 800 pages. It is a very complicated and complex book, but he assures us it will be ouit soon. + And finally.... POE got a VERY big kick out of the Spice Girls story and especially the fact that it went on for so long on this list! Well, that is about it. I hope this information helped you guys. - -- Evan E.
