On Toad the Wet Sprocket's album "fear", there are a couple of songs - One says "they don't know her, but what the f*#% they've got nothing else they can do" (it's a song about rape) And another one "God damn the people that left you in pain, God damn the father without face without name, God damn the lovers that never showed up, and God damn the wounds that show how deep a word can cut" This album wasn't labeled explicit. Now, granted, it's an older album and I might have bought my copy before that sticker started being put on everything but I don't think so. In both of these songs, they just wouldn't have the same impact without those words. - My point, I don't know, it just all makes me smile. I'm glad I don't let a little sticker determine the music I listen to. If I did, I would have missed some amazing artists.
