I am taking a trip from Milwaukee to the Oklahoma/Texas area in a couple of months. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to things we should do in either of those states, adjoining states, or states in between WI and TX? Thanks! BTW, (just to relate to POE) if anyone does like to request songs on stations they don't get, call 414-799-1021 and request "Today"! 800-899-1021 is toll free and *may* work, but may only be for a selected calling area. Hey, i am on a jewel list too, and some guy is trying to show a conspiracy theory on sarah's part for Jewel not having a bigger role in lillith fair. I think its funny cuz Sarah is trying to promote lesser known women as well as womens music in general, i personally dont think jewel needs any help here. It's not only the music that affects me. The words and even just the voice of teh music are really powerful. One thing that I really love is "The Slant" on Ani Difranco. I'm not really sure why, but I think when I hear it. Not too many things get to me to really stop and think anymore. Maybe that's why I love it. Moving on, I like Shakespeare's sonnets (especially 71). I'm a big fan of Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein too.
