Poe played a club called Mama Kin Music Hall located in Boston back in the spring of '97. Besides getting backstage and meeting her, the band and some fellow AP's I've come to learn that Mama Kin has recording capabilities hooked into their mixing board and it's likely that the show was recorded. Anybody who's in tight with Poe know if this is so and if that might be surfaced at any time? Maybe with a little gentle prodding and "pleases"? I've actually tried to order that Angry Johnny single from CDNOW twice over the past few months. They would always e-mail me a few days later saying that they no longer carry it. I'm going to try once more, in case they now have more in stock. I recently found the Trigger Happy Jack single at VinylVendor. Don't let the name fool you, they also carry CDs. Go to their web-site is at: http://www2.vinylvendors.com/vinylvendors/vinylvendor.html and search for the artist "Poe". This will bring up a list with Poe's CDs mixed in with "Poets", "Poetry", etc., so scroll through the whole list to find all of Poe's stuff. I think they had 5 Trigger Happy Jack singles left. Thanks again, Don ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Mar 1998 13:04:46 -0600 From: Mike Auer Subject: Re: AJ Single Is that the Trigger happy Jack single with Padre Fear on it? Or not?
