Um not that I am offended, but I hope that I am not coming off as being "self promoting" I have NO relationship with WBER other than as a hardcore listner who also views that particular station as the most likely one in Rochester NY (my area) to HONOR requests for POE, and they are on the NET, and commercial free "alternative". We all have personal favorite POE tunes, mine is "Hello" it evokes alot of memories for someone who has been around telecommunications and computers (off and on) for 20 years. As an AP and an absolute LOVER of POE, I feel duty bound to promote POE via whatever media is open to me. I have an AP button on me daily, I phone request POE daily and I am e-mailing almost daily, I have registered #'s POE and #AnGrY-PsYcHoS on DALNET (IRC) On occasion I will open up 10 copies of IRC all on different networks, with my POE #'s, I have a POE page that has the goddies to get you 'Connected" including an entrance to #POE via sneaker chat, and I am soon to install a Telnet Link to IRC on my POE page. I liked POE from the first time I heard THJ, and then AJ, and then "Hello" just legitimized the reality of the nets arrival an event I had long wiated for...and THEN I got to meet her, well WE did, the crew she invited back to her hotel, all 40 of us, POE is way kewl, she is an enabler of connections...I would venture to say that history will always recognize POE's relationship with the NET as an important one, when they sort it all out... Now B a G00D PsYcHo will ya? and send wber@monroe.edu an e-mail http://wber.monore.edu main page http://wber.monroe.edu/listen.html for tunes http://www.geocities.com/sunsetstrip/lounge/1971 For POE, NET Radio, NET Software, and S00N a Telnet IRC Link.
