For POE's Birthday Card *** Dear Angry-Psychos, Hello! As you will remember, I sent an e-mail to the list last week about POE's birthday booklet... Well, I am now ready to begin accepting your messages for POE to include in the booklet. In case you missed my e-mail from last week, I will briefly explain what the plan is: Last year we put together a birthday booklet for POE. Several of the Angry-Psychos sent their birthday messages for POE. All of the message were printed out and binded together. The booklet was then presented to POE in Las Vegas. So, this year we have the opportunity to make this an even bigger and better booklet for POE. **** How to send your message for POE: Please send all messages to me at : tonycu@poe.org ***For the subject line please type in "Happy Birthday POE" Upon receiving your message, I will send you an e-mail confirming that I received your message. Other than that...the rest is up to you... * Feel free to write a lengthy message to POE. * If you have artwork, poetry or anything else that you would like to have included, that is no problem. Just e-mail me and we will work something out. I think an ideal date to have the booklet completed will be by March 10th. This will allow enough time for the booklet to make it into her hands in time for her birthday on March 23rd. * Finally, and most importantly, this is the perfect opportunity for us the give POE some inspiration while working on her new album... Please feel free to e-mai me if you have any questions. I thought the Oscar nominations would be an interesting debate. I think that Good Will Hunting should win all of the awards since I feel that it was the best movie of the year. I'm afraid that Titanic will end up winning most of the awards though. I thought it was a 3 star movie. The plot and special effects and stuff were good but some of the acting was bland (Billy Zane and Bill Paxton) and some of the lines were cheezier than Cheeze Whiz ("I'm just a tumbleweed blowing in the wind."? come on!) But enough griping about Titanic. I remember someone said something about LA Confidental being better than Titanic which is why I wrote this in the first place. I never did get to see that but I wanted to. I love Kevin Spacey! He's such a great actor. You can all probably tell I'm bored so I'll put you out of your misery and shut up for now.
