This is a project for... well, check out www.LAFF.org for the full info. #-----------------------------------# # Other Stuff # #-----------------------------------# There has been a lot of talk on the list about Backstage Passes for the Angry Psychos. POE.ORG is very much involved with this project, infact it was POE's idea a year ago. Unfortunately, like all great ideas, it takes a long time to implement. Not to say that it won't happen, it just needs to be done properly. Just to settle any uncomfort, here is a fear of Fishkin Entertainment (POE's record label)... We give out AP Backstage Passes and the AP's know that this is a guarenteed pass to meet with POE after a show... Then POE makes it to New York and there are 100 Angry-Psychos waiting after the show to see POE - borderline, expecting to meet POE. That would be a nightmare. In addition, this is the type of thing that makes a bad name for the artist in the eyes of the venue. Remember, others have the power and the more expectations we have, the deeper we are digging our grave. The rules that will govern the AP Pass will come from Fishkin Entertainment and we must abide by them... THEY HAVE THE POWER! WE HAVE THE PASSION! #-----------------------------------# # The New Album # #-----------------------------------# "Sometime in the summer." This is going to be an exciting year and if we don't get some structure to our insanity, I fear we will self-destruct. I know that my brain explodes once a month, as it is. Count your blessings, as I recently have... Each one of us have the fortune of being able to be online and be involved with such a great group of people. If there is anything that you want to see implemented by POE.ORG or passed to POE, send it. If you think POE.ORG is a waste of your time and a piece of shit, I'll accept that too. How are y'all? Sorry for the inconvenience (sp?), but I was pondering some questions. I was wondering if I can get some answers to some of my questions. Once again, I do apologize for the inconvenience (sp?). 1). Since The MISTRESS OF GROOVE lived in Utah---Provo, to be exact---I was wondering if anyone knew how long she lived here? I was thinking that if anyone knew how long she lived here, then maybe they would know what school (junior or high) school she attended? That way, if possible I could try to get a pic of her when she was in school and myabe try to find a way to scan it....sounds reduntant (sp?) 2). I had heard that MTV is releasing a c.d. ("120 Minutes"), and was wondering if POE was going to be on the c.d. or has she been on "120 Minutes"? 3). Does anyone know if the MISTRESS ever felt left out? I mean was she in any type of clique (cheerleader, gothic, etc.)? Not to put down anyone, but wasn't she and her brother were @ 6 out 1500 kids who weren't Mormon? I'm just curious and I don't mean to show any bias toward any religion group, sexual preference, gender, age, ethnicity, etc... Once again, i'm sorry to have bothered/intruded the whole list with this letter...being that this is my first letter to the list, it'll probably be the last one....
