I've been an AP for a few months now, but never have introduced myself, because I've been real busy with life. Anyway I thought I'd tell you all about the POE concert I went to. It was in Port Chester New York, At 7 Willow Street (were any of you there) Anyway...It was the best show of my entire life! I was in the front row, the music was awesome and Poe as a perfrmer was at her best...I waas stunned when she jumped into the audience, because I had never seen a female performer do that...I knew she really trusted us....As she sang I held her hands at many points and it was the best...I don't mean to sound cocky but I think I was the most enthusiastic person in the concert, and so she payed special attention to me...It was so cool...I even got the girl who came with me up on stage during the beautiful girl song. If that wasn't enough Poe was cool enough to sign my CD pamphlet....I love POE. Hope this helps.... delighted _mac_ giggle. (sorry guys, I just have to plug the superior OS) I work at an ISP (internet service provider) and so I deal with calls every day regarding different things. Since a lot of mac stores refer us to their customers, we get a good amount of mac callers. The great thing is, windows customers still take 3 times as long to deal with. That says nothing about the people, but it says a lot about microsoft. Simply put, everyone is trying to make computers *inclusive* ... (a great example of this being good is how ed can encode these kick ass MP3s on a wintel machine and I can play them on my MAC.. think about that. that's pretty cool) ... so the whole industry is trying to *include* everyone together, so compatibilty isn't a problem. ... and guess what mircosoft is doing? making them as incestous as possbile. the CEO of the BeOS (new operating system) put it really well, windows and micro$oft is like a roach motel. You check in, but you can't check out. the programs are all written to be used within each other, but if you want to use anything else, it's not compatible. the technology is there for there to never be a compatibilty issue again, but that scares bill. he fears that maybe then, superior products will pass his inferior bundled software in sales. (gasp) if you read all this, and you didn't care about any of it, I'm sorry I wasted your time. ************************************************************ * http://jragon.linex.com * ************************************************************ Lots of strange art by me ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 28 Jan 1998 18:18:52 EST From: UlfDahlen Subject: Re: bands i like...NPR I've heard Novicaine For the Soul by the eels, and I thought that was a good song...
