Every time someone has come up to my register at Sam Goody and bought the Great Expectations soundtrack, i have pointed out "Today". If they showed the slightest bit of intrest, ....i plugged POE.ORG. The other day, a girl came up and bought POE's album. i went on the whole time i was ringing up the chick about POE.ORG, and everything. HAHA! Also, i have successfully addicted my best friend Jen to POE. She has e-mail, and when i was over her house the other day, we signed her up for the AP list and she got a POE.ORG addy. YES! After a brief departure, I am back... no, please, don't get up. For those of you who a) don't remember me, b) weren't here when I was, or c) tried REALLY hard to forget me, here is a brief description of me... I am a 21-year-old junior at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana majoring in journalism and English. I have listened to Poe since her album first came out (my roomate bought her CD because "the cover looked cool"). I work at Sam Goody part-time, so I get to listen to new music well before it comes out to the general public. The other artists I listen to are: Tori Amos (the goddess of music), Sarah McLachlan, Lauren Christy, Imani Copolla (the director, Francis Ford Copolla's daughter... she is awesome), Sneaker Pimps, and Madonna (yeah, I know she really fits with the rest of the music I just listed). And yes, I have had my e-mail "name" set as Padre Fear because that is probably my favorite song by Poe... it's been set like that since my freshman year. So, that's about it. Anything else, just ask... Later guys... it's good to be back. Jeff ******************************************************************************* "One of these days I'm gonna be happy. Then I heard that Joel was no longer going to be the host, and someone named Mike was going to take over. I then caught a few shows after Joel and I no longer watch it. I don't think Mike is really funny. To me he seems to serious, compared to Joel. sanjiyan sanjiyan@beaches.net ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 Jan 1998 03:04:44 -0800 (PST) From: Jonathan Olsson Subject: Padre Fear Song IS there any way I can buy this song on CD? He was the first to bring us the truth about the evil Poe. If Tyman has told us that Poe is an office furniture salesperson, then she must be. Tis a shame, too. I know CD singles go out of print quickly, so you might want to try all the stores you can before it is finally deleted from our warehouse. Hope this is of some help...
