ALSO! poe's name was not on the commercial for Great Expectations (i saw it like 3 times) her name was not on that little thing that they flash that says the people who are on the soundtrack at the end of the commercial....do you know what i'm talking about? tori's name wasn't there either. how disapointing. well, laters my loves. AP Love--one full year strong and then some, Heather "The Sam Goody worker who's nobody's goody goody girl." ************************************************************************ i do it for the joy it brings, because i'm a joyful girl --Ani Difranco ************************************************************************ << so there's this *other* girl comin' along with a debut album and she mangled 32 flavors. (I think, anyway) and the saddest thing is that Ani still isn't really on Mtv or the radio, yet this new girl frigs up a great song and maintains just enough words to make it sound good (like it was intended to be) and now she's a rising star.. supposedly. >> ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 3 Jan 1998 13:39:04 EST From: Flickergrl Subject: NPR: letters to cleo hi sorry for the NPR but i was just wondering if anyone had Letters to Cleo's "Sister" tape... because i have been looking everywhere for that, with no luck. so if anyone does please mail me. :P thanks ~*brette ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 3 Jan 1998 16:58:31 -0500 From: Emily Subject: Poe not on Great Exp. ad (snip) poe's name was not on the commercial for Great Expectations (i saw it like 3 times) her name was not on that little thing that they flash that says the people who are on the soundtrack at the end of the commercial....do you know what i'm talking about? tori's name wasn't there either. how disapointing. well, laters my loves. AP Love--one full year strong and then some, Heather (snip) Yeah I noticed that too and was wondering why it wasnt listed with the other bands. I was under the impression that her song was a big deal in that movie. Does anyone know for sure if the song is actually played during the movie? Also, for those of you that recieved a promo copy, what track number is her song, and what is the name of it? If someone could provide a list of the songs/artists on the CD that would be awesome! emily @poe.org ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 03 Jan 1998 16:46:41 -0500 From: Jessy Brown Subject: Re: ripoff of 32 flavors/poe not on commercial >ALSO! >poe's name was not on the commercial for Great Expectations (i saw it like 3 >times) >her name was not on that little thing that they flash that says the people who >are on the soundtrack at the end of the commercial....do you know what i'm >talking about?
