Trivial, but Poe related nonetheless... I was just wondering if anyone else happened to see the little 12 days = of xmas commercial on MTV that has various artists and personalities = each doing one of the days, and guess what? Poe is one of them, its = brief but interesting. BTW she does the "Nine ladies dancing" part and = adds "but I'd rather have men..." (or something similar) it was cute... However, not as many people know how to do FTP rather than email, so they assume sending an attachment is fine. I work as tech support for an internet provider, and one of the things that frigs up mail the most is people trying to send big files through email. it just isn't designed for that. what I would do to get a lot of space is get a page on geocities and put the files there. then, don't make a webpage, just u/l the files. that way, someone needs to know the name of the MP3 (which you give them in the AP list or whatever) to get anything. otherwise they'll just get a page that says "I haven't moved in yet" or look into a really nifty program called "hotline". it's prolly everything you're looking for and more. :) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 23 Dec 1997 19:41:56 -0500 From: "marc de jong" Subject: Re: Best of '97 Hi all, Here is my '97 list: 1.
