I live in a small town that is majorly homophobic. Thank you for saying something I've been thinking for a long time. I'm a senior, and I don't hide my sexuality, but I don't exactly run around the halls screaming " I'm gay." I've been dating girls since i was 15, college girls, and I've come out to most of my friends, but I still get the usual harrassment. It's something I've come to terms with. People are ignorant an they won't change. Right now my main concern is finding a prom date, and not getting killed. Romeo & Juliet soundtrack: The Garbage song is by far the best and "Twisted Piece of Flesh" sounds cool if you have a power system in your car 9. Garbage : A very cool album except track 6 (A Twist of Luck?). 8.Ozzy Osbourne: The Ozzman Cometh: Great collection of old and new Ozzy plus some neat stuff for your computer 7. Bush: Sixteen Stone- in my mind, the only really good Bush album (i know i will be killed for saying that) 6. Nirvana- Unplugged: A great acoustic set and I'd have to say the group at there peak. 5. Nine Inch Nails- The Downward Spiral: Moody and keeps you listening. Consider it an album that jerks you around and then makes you feel like you know what it's about at the end. 4. Poe- Hello: Really no review needed except that this album shows how much talent one person can really have. She goes from rock, to pop, and even to a little easy listening and funk. 3. Pearl Jam-Ten: Just pulled this one out of the closet a few days ago and realized how much I liked listening to it. Really a solid album and probally there best. 2. The Lost Highway- soundtrack : A good album if you ask me. Has a lot of jazz and then disperses some very cool rock songs in between. If you like NIN or Marilyn Manson, there are new songs by both and also Smashing Pumpkins. David Bowie and the german group Rammstien also have tracks on this cool album. 1. I know I will be strung up and shot for this but here it is; U2- POP: After what seemed forever, this classic group put out another respectavle album. If you ask me, they cannot make a bad album even if they tried. Altough their style has changed since "The Joshua Tree", it is still a great album to listen to. One thing though, if you don't listen to it all the way through, it seems to not flow right. Always listen starting with Discotheque and go from there. Highlights from this one would have to be "Mofo", If God Would Send His Angels", and my personal favorite "Please" Also, if you like NIN, the video collection "Closure" is by far the awesomest vid. I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and buy it and don't watch the "happiness in slavery" video :P ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V2 #403 ***********************************
