When I went to see Poe last march in san fran, she showed me a video that one of her fans had made. it was for angry johnny, so there's already a video, but this guy was a film student and just wanted to put in his interpritation of the song. Poe said she really liked it (although she didn't really expect it to be good) and she was thinking up way to perhaps let other people see the vid. so has anyone gotten *that* Poe collector's item? I would say it's one of the rarest. ;) and it really is good. oh, just a little Poe joke - the video follows a story pretty much - I forget what it was, but there was defniatly a story, and not just a bunch of dumb suedo-trippy shots. anyway, at one point in the song (I can do it with my own bare hands, around there) there's a shot of a woman (nude) in the shower looking pretty darn sexual while she washes herself. so poe turned to me and said "hey! I never said I can do it in the shower!" .. twas funny. love you all! ********************************************************************** *Want to see some wierd art? *** www.clark.net/pub/jragon *** ********************************************************************** and god help you if you are a phoenix and you dare to rise up from the ash a thousand eyes will smolder with jealousy while you are just flying ~ani difranco ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 6 Dec 1997 03:28:51 -0600 (CST) From: zoetroop@ix.netcom.com Subject: videos and such Hey, I'm looking for any Poe videos and other tv appearences except the 2nd Loveline. This surprised me because I thought that her album contained the only songs that were "out there" at least in america. The reason that I thought this was because that is what I was told at Tower Records (records....is that a name that no longer applies?). So my question is this...are there other songs out there that are just as easy to find or is that they only non-album track that is common? Any help would be greatly welcome.
