i'm from burke, virginia, about a half an hour from washington, d.c.
i am 19 years old.
i first heard 'angry johnny' on the radio, and then i got the cd i think 2
summers ago. i first saw her on april 10 at the 9:30 club in d.c. wow.
wow. she is amazing.
some of my favorite female artists are natalie merchant, jewel, ani
difranco, sarah mclachlin, patti rothberg, jane jensen, fiona apple, ya
know. i like lots of other music as well, but those are the main chicky
singers. :)
interesting? i'm not. i'm still trying to find janine but when i do, i'll
tell you some good stuff.

OK, so I decide to take some action and write CD Universe regarding their
ridiculous "People who like Poe also Like..." list of bands.  My e-mail is
at the bottom of this.

I got shut down pretty fast.  D'oh!  Ah well.

By the way, I am sure not all of you will agree with the list of artists I
included, but I made it based on my recollection of what APs write in their
intro e-mails.  The main point is it is MUCH more accurate than the list
that CD Universe gives. (so no flames por favor!)
