Janas) Subject: ORIGINAL POE CD? Hello. I've been a POE fan for a year now, but I'm new to the list. Well, here it goes: 1.)Who are you? Terrence B. Janas (Terrdogg) 2.)Where are you from? I live in Franklin Park, IL, a burb of Chicago. 3.)How old are you? I will be 17 this January 25th. 4.)Where did you first hear POE? The first time I heard POE was when I heard "Angry Johnny" on Q101, a Rock Alternative radio station in Chicago. The band never had a great impact on me until I saw them in concert for the first time on July 31, 1996 at The Vic in Chicago. They were the 2nd band that played; The Refreshments opened up, and Sevenmarythree played after POE. 5.)What other bands do you listen to? Here's a few: Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Fiona Apple, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Wellwater Conspiracy... 6.)Any other info you would like to share? Actually, I do. About six months ago, a friend of mine borrowed my POE CD at a party. I had no idea what happened to it, since I asked her about it and she said she didn't have it (maybe she lied, who knows?). Anyways, I couldn't live without it, so I got another CD. But this one I got didn't have the brass version of "Junkie." Can anyone grab ahold of a copy for me that does? I'd be happy to pay full price for it, or trade something for the CD, even if its used. Thank you very much. People who have chronic stuttering problems do not stutter when talking to pets. This is because they feel the pet in not judging them, which is, of course, true. When humans communicate to someone else via internet, they feel very annonymous. They do not see another person looking at them. They don't hear the other person's failing voice when they get bored with the conversation. So, electronic mail strips the words and feelings of a person of all emotion, just bearing the truth of what they are saying, not showing the face, body or status of the sender, just the soul. It sounds like a false method of communication, but actually it is a wonderful form of expressing one's thoughts without having to worry about people liking you or not. If they don't, it's their problem, if they do, one can have communication without judgement. So perhaps the reason some of you have had better electronic relationships than actually relationships, is because electronic ones will always just be better.
